We want your stay at Our Happy Place to be as easy and enjoyable as possible. Before submitting your booking request, please take a moment to read the important bits below.
👨👩👧 Guests
Our Happy Place has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 5 guests.
Only guests included in your booking may stay overnight unless agreed with us in advance.
🕒 Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 3:00pm
Check-out is by 11:00am
Earlier check-in or later check-out may sometimes be available by prior arrangement.
🐾 Pets
Our Happy Place is a pet-free caravan, so unfortunately no pets are permitted.
🚭 Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the caravan.
If you smoke or vape outside, please dispose of everything safely and responsibly.
💳 Payment & Booking Deposit
A £50 Booking & Damage Deposit is required to secure your dates and must be paid within 7 days of your booking confirmation. If it is not received within 7 days, your dates may be released.
The full holiday balance is due 6 weeks before check-in. For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full balance and £50 deposit are due at the time of booking.
If you cancel your stay, the £50 deposit is non-refundable.
If your stay goes ahead, the £50 becomes your refundable damage deposit and will be returned within 5 days of check-out, provided there are no damages, missing items or additional costs.
🎟️ Park Passes
Our Happy Place is a privately owned caravan at Summerfields Holiday Park.
Park passes are not included in the price of your stay. Passes for applicable facilities and entertainment can be purchased separately from the holiday park.
You do not need a park pass simply to stay at Our Happy Place.
🧺 Linen & Towels
Fresh bed linen and towels are included with your stay.
Please don’t use the towels provided as beach towels or for removing makeup, fake tan or hair dye.
📶 Internet
Complimentary mobile internet is available in the caravan.
As this uses a mobile network, signal, speed and availability can vary and cannot be guaranteed.
🎉 Parties & Behaviour
Our Happy Place is intended for holidays and short breaks and parties, events and large gatherings are not permitted.
We ask all guests to be considerate of neighbouring holidaymakers and caravan owners and to follow the rules of Summerfields Holiday Park.
❌ Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking:
5 days or more before check-in — Full holiday balance refunded
7–14 days before check-in — 50% refund of the holiday balance
Less than 7 days before check-in — Non-refundable
The £50 Booking & Damage Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your booking.
If we need to cancel your stay because we’re unable to provide the accommodation, all payments, including the £50 deposit, will be refunded in full.
We recommend taking out appropriate UK travel insurance in case illness, emergencies or other unexpected circumstances prevent you from travelling.
🏡 Your Booking
Submitting the booking form does not automatically confirm your stay.
Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm that your chosen dates are still available and provide the information needed to complete your booking.
Your booking is only confirmed once we have accepted it and the required payment has been received.
